Sagot :
Geography is very important to history. The size, location, and resources of each country affects how they interact with their neighbors. An example of geography playing a major part in history was the Battle of Thermopylae (which was turned into fiction in the movie 300). King Leonidas of Sparta used the natural geography of Thermopylae to stall the Persian army, which enabled the united armies of Greece to beat back the Persian invaders
geography greatly affects history in a sense that geography is not only focusing on the physical features of a land but also in human activities which according to my research belongs to human geography.
