The correct answer is, some of the conflicts surrounding immigration, multiculturalism, and population in the United States have posed some questions not only to politicians, but to historians, human rights organizations, and citizens.
Immigration. This is a number one priority for the U.S. government. Particularly, the present administration has publicly declared that they want to build a wall in the border with Mexico because they consider that is a solution to stop migrant from Mexico, Central America, and South America.
Multiculturalism and population. Once in the U.S. territory, immigrants keep their culture and beliefs systems. Not only in recent years but since the beginning of European immigration, multiculturalism has characterized the U.S. The West Coast region is full of Asian people from China, Japan, and other Eastern countries. The Northeastern region has many immigrants from Italy and many other European countries. Jewish people live in all the U.S. territory. Florida is full of people from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. Texas, Nevada, Arizona, New York, and Connecticut are states where many Mexican workers live.
So these populated areas are still increasing the number of immigrants. Multiculturalism is one of the main characsteristics that can be found in the U.S. nowadays. Throughout the years, these have created many opportunities for the people and companies as well as many problems such crime and cheap labor.
