There were three main different orders for formal Greek architecture. They were Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. All of them were slightly different but showed some lineament anyway.

The Greeks provided some of the finest and most distinctive buildings in ancient times. Besides, some of their structures would become the main feature of some towns and cities. Greek architects focused on simplicity, proportion, perspective as well as harmony in their buildings.

They placed them in predetermined areas. They had shallow reliefs and some of them were three-dimension.
