The clock is an instrument that helps us to measure time in hours, minutes, and sometimes in seconds.
It has two or three hands of different sizes:
- The shorter hand marks the hours. It moves very slowly while changing time.
- The longest hands mark the minutes.
- The thinnest hands and that advances faster. Mark the seconds.
There are two types of clock:
- The digital clock: This shows the hours, minutes and seconds with numbers.
- The analog clock: This shows the time with two hands, which rotate between the numbers 1 and 12.
