Findings from correlational and multi-level mediation analyses show that changes in teachers' self-reported fatigue and distress had an impact on the academic environment and several elements of students' well-being. The improvement in students' perceptions of their instructors' assistance in the classroom was specifically linked to decreases in teachers' self-reported sadness and burnout. Student academic self-perception increased more when teachers' personal and professional fatigue decreased. In contrast to expectations, instructors' cognitive flexibility did not act as a mediating factor in the association between these student and teacher variables. These findings emphasize the wider significance of stress-reduction and wellness programs for teachers and point to significant downstream advantages for kids.
