Erroneous is an adjective used to describe anything that is wrong, incorrect or inaccurate, this means a something that is erroneous is something that is incorrect, usually, because it contains errors or it is characterized by them and it goes against what is considered as truth. As a consequence, if a belief is erroneous it means that is wrong in one way or other and generally speaking is not in agreement with what is true. Thus, if a belief is described as being so wrong and in disagreement with true, it is an Erroneous belief.
