Many colleges are now offering online classes in order to fulfill a growing demand for students who have busy schedules and need to fit in classes around a day already packed with work and family. Online classes can be difficulter than seated classes if a student is not well prepared. By being just a little organizeder and diligenter than their seated counterparts, online students can be just as successful. Online students have least access to campus resources, but that doesn't mean that they are completely cut off. While seated students see their instructors daily, online students need to be most proactive. A phone call or an e-mail can often be an excellent way to get answers. It is always best to ask questions than to do an assignment without really understanding what is expected. Seated students have the luxury of being lesser self-reliant as they have classmates to collaborate with on upcoming projects. The worse thing online students can do is to wait until the last minute to turn their work in. Bad weather can cause Internet connections to become unreliabler than usual, and no one wants to lose an Internet connection while trying to submit an assignment at the last minute. Online students can perform good with a carefully laid out plan than without one.
