The Tuohy's watch football every Thanksgiving, the whole family is sitting around the TV screen as Michael is sitting at the table alone. Michael hasn't gotten used to being in a family like this. Leigh sees Michael sitting alone, and by the looks of it, she thinks that it would be nice for the whole family to sit together and have Thanksgiving dinner, to make Michael feel good, as he has probably not done this before. She turns off the Football game, the family sets all the food on the dining table. They have a proper Thanksgiving dinner. They make him feel very included, as they say grace. He is surprised by this, people don't usually treat him this nicely.This is where the bond starts to form between Leigh and Michael, especially.
