How do you identify a slope and y-intercept of the line with the equation of y=7x+8?

Sagot :

The slope is what ever is in front of x so the slope is 7/1 (you have to imagine the 1 under whole numbers)  the y-intercept is the number without the x so it would be 8
Whenever the equation of a line is in that form, with the 'y' all alone
on one side and everything else on the other side, the coefficient of
the 'x' (7) is the slope of the line, and the bare number (+8) is the
y-intercept of the line.
